CUNY Student CCR Employment Information
- CUNY Student CCR’s are part-time, non-instructional employees of the Research Foundation of CUNY.
- Student CCR’s work at the 3-1-1 Call Center located at 59 Maiden Lane, Manhattan.
- Student CCRs work 18 hours per week, with the possibility to work additional hours during holiday and vacation periods.
- Undergraduate Students earn $11.98 per hour. Graduate Students earn $14.98 per hour.
- Student CCRs are required to attend paid training provided by Project Staff. Training is approximately 49.5 hours over a two week period.
- Direct supervision of Student CCR is provided by DoITT staff; however, Student CCRs are Research Foundation employees accountable to the CUNY 3-1-1 Program Director and Project Staff.
- Student CCRs will work with the CUNY 3-1-1 Project performing the following tasks:
- Answer incoming calls within the 24-hour/7-day week operation in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain customer satisfaction.
- Identify customer’s needs and assist accordingly.
- Enter data into a computerized tracking system.
- Perform routine clerical work such as copying, filing and faxing as needed.
- Meet with DoITT and CUNY Project Staff as needed.
