If you are a New York State resident 60 years of age or older and have completed high school, you may attend John Jay College as an auditor for the college's undergraduate courses on a space available basis, without paying tuition.
Enrolling in a course on an audit basis gives you the right to attend and participate in all aspects of the course without receiving credit for the course. At the conclusion of the course, you’ll be assigned a grade of "AU" which will appear on your permanent record at the College. The course, however, will have no credit attached to it and will not count toward any degree certificate program offered by CUNY.
Some details:
-
You’ll be charged an $80 administrative fee for the semester upon registration.
-
Complete your application. (The application fee is waived.)
