The policy of the Doctoral Subprogram in Forensic Psychology is to consider students who show considerable promise of succeeding in the program. Each applicant's entire application package will be thoroughly examined (including GPA, General GRE scores, Psychology GRE scores, letters of recommendation, personal statement, as well as research and clinical experiences). The program is highly competitive and accepts approximately 15 students each year (divided between the Clinical and Experimental tracks).

The program is open to full-time students only. Students cannot attend on a part-time basis.

Admission is for the fall semester only. Applications must be received by the Graduate Center Admissions Office by December 1st.

NOTE: Applicants who are interested in the Clinical Track should apply to the "Forensic Psychology" subprogram on the online application, not the "Clinical Psychology" subprogram (which is housed at CCNY).
